LOCAL SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

SCHOOL LIBRARIAN / MEDIA SPECIALIST /TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION / IT SUPPORT

 Stapleton Public Schools is seeking applicants for a School Librarian for the 2024-2025 school year.  Preference will be given to those candidates with aptitudes in IT, Computer Networking, and Technology Integration, with the proper teaching certification, or the motivation to attain it.  This position may be full for part time, and the district would fund the costs of certification for a well-qualified candidate.  SPS offers small class sizes, and a professional environment devoted to supporting teachers with their unique professional needs.  SPS teachers enjoy 15 days of discretionary leave per year, early school release on Fridays, and a transfer of all years of service for qualified applicants. The school system is located 27 miles north of North Platte, Nebraska.

 Other:

The base salary for the 2024-25 school year is $38,700.  Instructors enjoy excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, long-term disability, and an HSA account option.  Volleyball coaching, including the Head Varsity position is available but not required with this position.

PARAEDUCATOR

Stapleton Public Schools is seeking a Full-Time Paraeducator at the Elementary and Secondary levels for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities include assisting in classrooms and providing one-to-one or small group learning support for students.  Individuals who are motivated, innovative, and love working on a team, will find this work extremely gratifying.  The school system is located 27 miles north of North Platte, Nebraska.

Other:

 The beginning wage for 2024-25 is dependent upon experience and skill set.  Benefits include paid time off, life insurance, long term disability insurance, and paid holidays.

 Stapleton Public Schools is taking applications for bus drivers.  Preference will be given to those applicants who have who possess a CDL.  A competitive compensation package is available to candidates with a proven employment record.
