INPUT REQUESTED FOR SCHOOL SPENDING
The federal government has provided additional, short-term funding to school districts. The stated purposes of these funds is to provide resources to help schools deal with the impact of the Covid Crisis on learning. In September, Stapleton Public School will submit our budget for use of these funds.
As part of the process, we are seeking community input on the possible ways to spend the funds. General use of the funds should address unfinished and/or delayed learning which occurred. Funded programming should also address students’ academic, social-emotional wellbeing, and the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on marginalized students. Measures may take the form of learning resources and materials, extended learning opportunities, additional staff, as well as improved learning environments.
Parents, Teachers, and all District Patrons, please submit your recommendations via email to Mr. Redinger at email@example.com by Friday, September 10, 2021. If you prefer you may also call Mr. Redinger at 308-636-2252, or make an appointment to meet with him at your convenience.
