Everyone,
Yesterday, Wednesday, May 8th, we were informed that Canvas, our Learning Management System or LMS, has experienced a data breach. Contained in the notification it was noted that "At this time, we have found no indication that passwords, dates of birth, government identifiers, or financial information were involved." To our knowledge Canvas utilizes school email, names, and passwords. So it appears that most of the data Canvas has was not compromised. Per school policy I have elected to notify everyone involved, and will keep you posted with further developments as they occur.
