Reservations are now open for the Stapleton Public School Foundation Banquet. We have made a few changes this year, and we are working hard to host a fun evening!
1. We changed the name from a gala to a banquet to give the event a more casual vibe.
2. Our new location is at the Logan County Fairgrounds Building.
3. New date: Friday, May 24
3. We are honoring the alumni honor years, and encourage the classes to meet up at the banquet.
Call the Stapleton Public School office to reserve your spot or table.

The 2nd graders did a STEM project in math today. The students were given 100 marshmallows and 50 toothpicks to try to build a tower with. They had to plan, build, and then measure their towers to see how tall they were in inches and centimeters.

Please join us Monday evening, as we recognize and celebrate our scholarship recipients and Fine Art achievements. Refreshments will be served.

Special thank you to the Stapleton Schools Booster Club for their donation of funds to purchase these tackle wheels for our football program. These items will help our football program at all levels (youth, middle and high school) to limit physical contact at practice while allowing players to practice proper tackling techniques and fundamentals. We are grateful for the support from our community to making sure our students athletes get the tools needed to improve performance and safety! Go Mavericks!

Fifth graders are creating math games.

Today is Earth Day! Kindergarten through 3rd grades walked up to the Recycling Center on J Street to learn about recycling. Jack Brummet talked to the students about baling cardboard, and shared a lot of fun facts.
-Each cardboard bale is 2,000 pounds.
-It takes 24 bales for a full load on a semi.
-It takes 2 to 2.5 weeks to make a whole bale.
-Only four more bales are needed for another semi load!
-Recycling brings in money for our Village, and trash costs our Village more money. Recycling saves our environment and our money!

NO ACTIVITY VAN TONIGHT: Due to meetings after school/this evening there will be NO activity van tonight. Please make plans accordingly.

This afternoon, the elementary kids were treated by a special recess with some of the big kids. This was the reward for the change drive for the firemen we did a few weeks ago. The games and activities were led by our Student Council and NHS members.
