EARLY DISMISSAL AND CANCELLATION: Due to the current forecast, we will be dismissing school tomorrow (Wednesday, December 21) at 2:41pm. Due to the forecasted extreme temperatures, there will be no school on Thursday, December 22. Classes for students will resume Wednesday, January 4.
BUILDING HEAT UPDATE _2: The building's heat system has continued to run adequately throughout this weekend, so we are planning to have school tomorrow. Forecasted extremely cold temperatures beginning Wednesday and into Thursday may affect whether or not we have school on Thursday. Stay tuned.
The Stapleton Public School Foundation board is looking for two community members to fill openings for the board of directors. If you are interested, please contact a current board member prior to January 4, 2023: Duane McClain, Dick Gewecke, Brenda Monson, Kennetha Amos, Lacy Kinderknecht, or Brian Redinger. The positions would begin January 11, 2023.
The Stapleton Public Schools Foundation was formed in 2014. It is a Public Benefit Nonprofit Corporation. The purpose is to support the educational and extracurricular activities for the students at Stapleton Public Schools including funds for scholarships.
BUILDING HEAT UPDATE: The building had good heat this morning, with the exception of an area that has been awaiting repair. The current plan is to have school on Monday, provided that the system continues to perform throughout the weekend. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
PARENT ADVISORY: Due to building heat issues there will be no school tomorrow. We are still uncertain about next week, but are working to be prepared for the end of the semester either way. We are currently planning to continue with sports and activities as planned. Please stay tuned.

The Basketball game against Sutherland has been rescheduled for December 29th. Girls JV will start at 3:30 with everything else to follow.
The JH basketball game against Sandhills/Thedford today has been rescheduled for January 13th at 1:00 PM due to road conditions.
