Christmas fun in the FCS room. Students competed in an Iron Chef competition. 3 teams were given, ham, cinnamon, green onion, crescent rolls, and cranberries to make a dish fit for the teachers. Three fabulous dishes were made and 3 judges tasted the fixings. The winning team was Kaden Allen, Chloe Schaeffer and Cayson Johnston with a garlic, ham, monkey bread with a cranberry sauce to compliment the dish. The winners took home the gold spatula!!!

Check out the amazing graham cracker houses some of the high school students made today. The broken one died in transport, but the boys who made it started referring to it as a beaver dam. 😊

This morning students 7-12 started the day with a 6 team dodgeball tournament. The winners got bragging rights and had a great time!

For our 8th grade cummulative project student's were challanged to make a Santa's sleigh that could roll and survive a crash at various heights down a ramp. The students had a great time and learned a lot about balancing a cargo and how important balanced wheels are to a successful vehicle.

This week has been so fun. It started with 5th grade student participating in science labs prepared by the Chemistry students. The Chemistry students developed labs thant introduced students to chromatography, series and parallel circuits, elephant toothpaste, and endothermic and exothermic reactions by making ice cream.

Mrs.Burnside and her FCS classes treated the JR and SR high school students and teachers to some hot chocolate and home made goodies. We wish you all a Merry Christmas!

The FFA Chapter is looking for volunteers to drive the second school van to our district CDE competitions and take students to get lunch in between their contests.
Dates: 1-31 & 2-21
Location: D&N Event Center (some competitions are on MPCC campus)
Please let Miss Nichols know if you are interested in helping us out.
