Trinity Hansen, SHS alum, along with her Beta Alpha Psi cohorts, facilitated a Finance and Accounting Workshop for our 9th through 12th grade students yesterday. Career paths, budgeting, and college life were among the many topics covered. Joined by students from McPherson County and Mullen, this was an excellent opportunity for our students to gain insight into a rapidly changing career field.

NO ACTIVITY VAN: There will be no activity van after practices this week due to home/away contests all week.
LATE START TOMORROW: Due to temperatures we will start school tomorrow at 10am. Buses will run accordingly.
NO SCHOOL TOMORROW: Due to extreme temperatures there will be no school tomorrow. Honor Band in Kearney is also canceled for Stapleton students. School Board meeting is still on.

ORD WRESTLING TOURNAMENT UPDATE: The Ord tournament scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled due to weather and travel hazards.
NO ACTIVITY VAN: Activity van for tonight is cancelled. Students have been instructed to ride the bus home who participate in activities and live in North Platte
ATTENTION: JH Games versus Cody-Kilgore for tomorrow have been postponed. JV Boys will play at 1pm tomorrow - Varsity Girls will play at 2pm and Varsity Boys will follow. There will be no halftime youth games. There will also be no concessions available.

We are proud to present our Honor Roll students. And, as a new addition, please note that there is now an Honor Roll for our 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. In order to better prepare them for secondary, we have transitioned these students away from standards-based grading, and into more traditional percentage grades. These kids have worked hard and we are so proud of them!
