Dear All, We are planning a Bingo for Books night at Stapleton Public Schools. It will be at 5:30 on March 4, 2024. We will also have a pie social and speech demonstration following the Bingo. We would like every child that attends to leave with a book. We are asking the community to see if anyone has new or nearly new books they would like to donate to the school for this event. If you have books you would like to donate please bring them or send them with a child to school. Mrs. Isom’s will keep them until Bingo night. Kindergarten Roundup Requirements for Kindergarten: Must be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2024 Time, Location and Details Friday, March 8th, 2024 9:00 - 11:30 at Stapleton Elementary School On Round Up Day, Parents must bring: Child’s birth certificate Child’s immunization records (both of these documents are required to attend school) Roundup Itinerary 9:00- Welcome and Introductions 9:30-10:45- Parents: Tour of the school, paperwork and questions with Kindergarten teacher 9:30-10:45- Students: Rotation through stations with current Kindergarteners and tour of the school 10:45-11:00- Closure/ Bathroom and washing hands for lunch 11:00-11:30- Lunch with current Kindergarten students and parents 11:30- Roundup students may leave with their parents or go back to Preschool if enrolled

Congrats to the Stapleton Speech team on their 2nd place MNAC finish versus 12 other schools. We are over the moon proud of these kids!!! Today we celebrated Cooper!!! Cooper Layher has accepted an offer to play football at McPherson College, in McPherson, Kansas. Cooper puts his heart and soul into everything he does. He will be missed!! We are so proud of you, Coop.❤️

2-3-24 North Platte Middle School Honor Band Two students in the Stapleton Junior High Band performed in the 2024 North Platte Middle School Honor Band at North Platte High School. Jaxon McEntee and Hope Correll were among the 78 students that performed in the Honor Band under the direction of Mr. Brett Bradley, retired Director of Bands at North Platte High School.
