The Stapleton Speech team sent 2 Novice and 2 Varsity members to Elm Creek to compete at Varsity level! Out of 8 entries we brought home 7 medals! And as a team (of only 4 students) we placed 4th out of 12+ schools! Individual Medals: Noah A. -1st Entertainment, - 6th Informative Tessa H. -2nd in POI, -2nd Poetry, -2nd Humorous Kempten F. -4th Serious -5th persuasive

Dear All, We are planning a Bingo for Books night at Stapleton Public Schools. It will be at 5:30 on March 4, 2024. We will also have a pie social and speech demonstration following the Bingo. We would like every child that attends to leave with a book. We are asking the community to see if anyone has new or nearly new books they would like to donate to the school for this event. If you have books you would like to donate please bring them or send them with a child to school. Mrs. Isom’s will keep them until Bingo night. Boys Basketball Sub-District: SVM boys are #3 seed and will face #2 South Loup in Ansley at 7:00pm on Tuesday Feb 20th.

Kindergarten Roundup Requirements for Kindergarten: Must be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2024 Time, Location and Details Friday, March 8th, 2024 9:00 - 11:30 at Stapleton Elementary School On Round Up Day, Parents must bring: Child’s birth certificate Child’s immunization records (both of these documents are required to attend school) Roundup Itinerary 9:00- Welcome and Introductions 9:30-10:45- Parents: Tour of the school, paperwork and questions with Kindergarten teacher 9:30-10:45- Students: Rotation through stations with current Kindergarteners and tour of the school 10:45-11:00- Closure/ Bathroom and washing hands for lunch 11:00-11:30- Lunch with current Kindergarten students and parents 11:30- Roundup students may leave with their parents or go back to Preschool if enrolled

Parents and Players - Basketball players/student managers and parents will stage over on the East side (Near Band Room) for Parents Night introductions this evening. Parents night introductions will begin at the conclusion of the Girls Varsity contest - before Boys warm ups begin.

Congrats to the Stapleton Speech team on their 2nd place MNAC finish versus 12 other schools. We are over the moon proud of these kids!!!
