STAPLETON HIGH SCHOOL BAND MEMBER SELECTED FOR HONOR BAND
The Stapleton High School Music Department is proud to announce that freshman, Madilyn McEntee, daughter of Jason & Shayla McEntee, has been selected to perform in the annual Mid-Plains Community College "Best of the West" Honor Band.
High School band students from around the area submitted a video audition, and from those auditions, the organizers selected 31 students from nine schools around North Platte. Participating schools include: Anselmo-Merna, Arapahoe, Chase County, Creek Valley, Gothenburg, Hershey, North Platte St Pat, Stapleton, and Wallace.
Students in the Honor Band will spend the day at MPCC rehearsing the music together, and will culminate in a final concert of the Honor Choir and Honor Band.
The Best of the West Honor Band/Choir Concert will begin at 6:00 pm in the MPCC Auditorium (doors open at 5:30 pm).
