And the winner is... Home Alone!

Christmas spirit at Stapleton Elementary the last week before Christmas break.

This young lady received a RARE award for cleaning up all the tables after breakfast without being asked. Stapleton had RARE teachers too!

We had carolers in the halls of Stapleton Public Schools today. How beautiful they sounded.

Congratulations to the following individuals who have been selected as NCPA Academic All-State for the Fall 2024 Activity season. Students who receive this award must exceed a 3.7 GPA and be a significant contributor to their team/activity:
Senior: Keith Morash - Cross Country
Senior: Cayson Johnston - Football
Senior: Leyton Connell - Football
Junior: Rhay Bruns - Volleyball
Junior: Lexi Hagan - Volleyball
Freshman: Luella Joedeman - Cross Country
Thank you Mavericks for representing us all in and out of the classroom!

This young man is very helpful and considerate. He helped a classmate clean up after she spilled food on herself at lunch. He was very sweet to her. He received a RARE award for being Responsible and Empathetic. Very Nice!

On Tuesday December 12 our Meal Service and Food Operations was audited by the Nebraska Department of Education Coordinated Student Support Services. The Inspection went smoothly, but one change we are required to make is how we process 2nd and 3rd helpings during meal service.
Historically both free and chargeable items were made available to students through the kitchen. Per State guidelines, we are required to charge for all food items taken from the kitchen. Like before, students will be permitted to make multiple trips to our Fruit & Veggie Bar at no additional cost.
This was explained to students in attendance this past Tuesday and Wednesday. Second helpings are .75c and thirds are $1.00. If a student takes multiple items from the kitchen in one trip, this will be considered as a 2nd and 3rd helping.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know, we will be happy to answer them! As a friendly reminder Free and Reduced Meal Applications are available in the office and can be mailed or emailed upon request. If you are unsure if you would qualify, we encourage you to fill an application out. Most people are not aware that free and reduced numbers help our school with financial aid.

Today we had a young lady in the 6th grade earn a RARE award. Her teacher said that she always makes good choices when she is waiting or finished with her work. She also makes sure all her work is done on time. Great Job!
