Band Students Visit with Composer The Junior High and High School Band students had the opportunity to visit today, with Scratch Adams, the composer of the Band piece "Stolen Castle" that we performed at the Spring Concert. The Band Members had the opportunity to perform the piece for the composer, who was really impressed and pleased with how they performed his music. The Band Members also had the opportunity to ask the composer questions about being a composer, how he became a composer, what were the thoughts or meaning behind the music, how he comes up with his ideas for songs, and the composing process of a piece. This was a fantastic experience to speak with a band composer and learn more about him and his music.
